On Monday 11th April we went to a café just before going to the Civic Reception with the Lord Mayor at 2.00pm !
We went into his house, met some French and English people and ate some cakes !
He spoke for about 3minutes and a girl translated his speech for French people who weren't able to understand. Then we had a photo taken and Page and me were in the front, just behind the Lord Mayor!
This photo was supposed to be in the newspapers but we did not find any newspapers with our photo ! So sad..
Later, we went to Page's friend Olivia's home, played the Uno and watched a film ( “ When in Rome “ ) with Chloé, her French partner !
Finally we came at home at about 5 o'clock :)
